PSRi's unit at gangavaram is the hefty and most operational unit in the organization's 21-year history. Random allowed works of various divisions work round the clock 24/7 like a well-oiled machine. PSRi's works include intercarting of bulk commodities such as coal, bauxite, urea, limestone, etc. Our work starts when a vessel is docked at berth, main duty being transporting allotted cargo to as shown by port authorities. Failing to do so between a stipulated time frame shall attract huge compensations. First off cargo is unloaded and heaped on the berth. A loader along with dumpers with respect to the distance of the unloading area is allotted so that machine's fuel is not wasted by being idle.
Another activity being high stacking, which only requires an excavator which shall stack the unloaded material so as to make space for new cargo until the old cargo is deported from the port.
Mechanical staff is issued with frequent problems of machinery breakdowns, maintaining vehicles to being fittest and to be operational at all the time. A dedicated team is always working to deal with human resources issues and taking care of all the staff welfare activities. Similarly, each department handles their respective allotted works all closely monitored and instructed by operational executives who govern over the staff.
